Faculty Workshops for Equity and Mission

Module 3 - Equity and Mission in Evaluative Processes for Promotion and Tenure

During this workshop, attendees will identify areas of potential bias in evaluation of professional responsibilities such as teaching/librarianship, scholarship/clinical or professional accomplishment, and service as well as strategies to mitigate bias in these areas. As faculty are now required to demonstrate a commitment to inclusive excellence in one area of their duties and responsibilities, attendees will also examine rubrics for evaluating inclusive excellence and engage in small-group conversations on various scenarios.
