Best Practices for LGBTQ+ Inclusive Classrooms
This lesson highlights some simple actions instructors can take to create LGBTQ+ inclusive classrooms. It is important to recognize and respect the identities of our students and support their success and wellbeing. LGBTQ+ students face discrimination for their identities everyday, both in and out of the classroom. When we create a safe and welcoming classroom environment, we can improve student learning and sense of belonging.
