Settings and Organization

Storing your videos in Warpwire is a great start, but there are many customization options in the settings of your library and in the settings of your individual videos. Understanding the options and reasons behind different settings will help you make the most of your Warpwire library.

Customization using Warpwire Settings

In this lesson we will review how to organize and manage your Warpwire library by renaming videos, updating a video with a newer version, tagging videos with category names, and changing share and view settings.

Practical Application

Let’s practice a couple of the organization techniques we reviewed in the video.

Add a tag to a video in your Warpwire library.

  1. Navigate to the course site where you added Warpwire and uploaded a video in Lesson One.
  2. Click on the circle with the three dots in the bottom right of the video and choose the menu option “settings”.
  3. Click on the button link that says “Add” that is next to “Tags”
  4. Click “Create Tag”
  5. Type the name of the new tag in the text box window.
  6. Click Create Tag.
  7. Click X to log out of the tag management tool.
  8. Add tags to any other videos you have added to your library.
  9. To sort by tag - click the AZ button icon in the top right corner of your Warpwire library.
  10. Choose to sort by tag.
Rename one of your videos.
  1. Navigate to the course site where you added Warpwire and uploaded a video in Lesson One.
  2. Click on the circle with the three dots in the bottom right of the video and choose the menu option "settings".
  3. Highlight the current name listed under “Title” and hit delete or start typing the new name.
  4. Close the Settings Menu
