Ryan Allen E-Learning Specialist E-Learning Lab -Room 38 ryan.allen@udayton.edu (937) 229-2233  Prerequisites *256 MB RAM *Windows XP, XP Tablet PC Ed., or equivalent emulator *Internet connection DyKnow runs on most Windows-based computers, as well as on Macintosh computers running Windows emulation software, such as Virtual PC or Parallels Workstation. IMPORTANT NOTE: DyKnow requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 in order to run. If the installer detects that you do not have this software installed, it will lead you through the process of downloading and installing this software using a file named dotnetfx.exe. This process may take several minutes (be patient!) In addition, when the installation of the .NET Framework completes you computer may reboot. If you run the DyKnow installer a second time it should carry through to completion.
The DyKnow Notebook Writer lets you print content from other Windows applications into a DyKnow notebook. It is available as a free download from the DyKnow web site. Should questions or concerns arise that these resources cannot address, you should contact your campus DyKnow expert.
