Introduction
Use the following directions to access your course iTunes U site and download content. As of Spring 2007 UD iTunes U is in its early stages with minimal content.  More course support and content is expected in Fall 2008.

1 — Get iTunes
If you don't already have it, add Apple's iTunes software to your Windows or Macintosh computer by downloading it from www.apple.com/itunes/download and installing it.
Browser Preferences: PC Users: Use Internet Explore or Firefox browser
  Mac Users: Use Safari (Mac Firefox isn't currently supported)
2 — Downloading Course Media
  1. Using your preferred Internet browser, go to: http://itunes.udayton.edu.
  2. Login using your UD Novell username and password.
  3. The UD iTunes U page will open on your computer.
    (if you don't have iTunes installed on your computer you will be directed to Apple's site to download the software)
  4. Click on the department name for your corresponding course.
  5. Next, locate and click on your specific course title.
  6. Find the audio content that you want to download and click on one of the following buttons:
    • Get Song or Get Movie — downloads a single item to your computer.
    • Get Tracks — downloads all of the items in the window to your computer.
    • Subscribe — automatically notifies you in iTunes when new items become available from your instructor.
3 — Using iTunes U Files
Once the files have been downloaded to your computer you can listen to the files on your computer or even move them onto your iPod or a blank CD for learning on the go!
  • Any tracks you download from University of Dayton iTunes U will appear in a playlist called "University of Dayton" within iTunes. Double-click the filename to play the file.
  • Any tracks you subscribe to as a podcast will appear under the "Podcasts" section of the iTunes Library.
