The E-Learning Lab is making available to instructors of online courses,
a form that can be used to evaluate distance learning/online courses.
This form closely parallels the Student Evaluation of Instruction Form used in traditional courses at UD.
At present, the use of this form is voluntary, and should be used in consultation between the faculty member
and the department chair.
UD may use the aggregate of results across courses as part of an effort to evaluate online courses in general
and/or to evaluate the utility of the present version of the student evaluation form for application in online
courses. Any reports resulting from such evaluations will deal with aggregate information only,
and will not result in the disclosure of results from any individual course.
Survey results will be sorted by department/program and sent to the respective chairs
after the close of the evaluation period.
