The primary distance learning tools currently used at The University of Dayton are WebCT, Lotus QuickPlace, Lotus Notes, Lotus SameTime, WebEx and Elluminate. You will have additional technical requirements depending upon the classes you register for. The following are the minimum technical requirements that will be supported by the university. While a broadband connection to the Internet is not required, for most classes you may want to consider it. Especially if your classes use a synchronous learning tool or require the use of digital multimedia such as audio or video streaming.
