You must have administrative rights to download software on your computer to follow this process.

If you don’t have the ability to download software on your computer, contact the technical help support for your particular department to ask them to install Respondus to your computer.

If you are able to install the software, follow this process:

• Make sure you are logged in as the administrator or power user of the computer (able to install programs).
• Click: Respondus35Campus.exe.
• Download the file to a familiar directory (for example C:\), and open My Computer to find and open the file.
• Follow the prompts to unzip the file to a directory.
  • Setup should start automatically, but if it doesn’t open My Computer to find and open the Setup.exe on your hard drive (default directory is C:\RespondusTemp2\).
• Follow the prompts to install Respondus and its equation editor.

When starting Respondus for the first time, enter the following information when prompted:

• Institution Name: University of Dayton
• Local Support Contact(s): Ryan Allen, ryan.allen@udayton.edu
• Installation Password: 928385926-998913964
• (Password valid through: July 31^st 2009)
• When asked for the Course Management System “Personality”, choose WebCT 3.x-4.x.
