Most of the online components of our courses are delivered using the Blackboard Learning System, CE Enterprise License. In addition to Blackboard, the University of Dayton makes use of IBM Lotus QuickPlace, Microsoft Office FrontPage, WebEx, and Lotus Sametime. These online tools supplement traditional face-to-face courses or are used autonomously to teach completely online.

Support for the delivery of our online courses is primarily tasked to the E-Learning Lab. The lab works to support faculty members as they incorporate technology into their courses and students grow comfortable using the created content. The lab also consults with faculty while evaluating, implementing, and growing new technologies to ensure that the final solution meets the needs of all involved.
